AI Usage Policy
How AI tools are used in the CodePlay Insights editorial workflow, how articles are checked, and how publishing works.
CodePlay Studios builds AI software, and we use AI tools in this editorial workflow. This page explains exactly where.
Where AI assists
- Discovery. Automated systems collect and cluster technology and
gaming news from approved sources and score how significant each story is.
- Research. AI tools summarise the primary sources into structured
research notes and check that a story has enough independent sourcing.
- Drafting and editing. AI tools write a structured draft from those
notes, then a separate editing pass tightens it, removes filler and sharpens the developer and business analysis. Neither pass may add facts or sources that are not in the research notes.
- Checks. Automated checks then verify every claim against the
sources and score quality, readability and sensationalism.
How publishing works
Articles that pass every check can be published automatically, up to a few per day. Articles that fail a quality or fact-confidence check are held back and never auto-published. CodePlay's team monitors published articles, and fixes or removes them when something is wrong (see our Corrections Policy).
What we don't do
- We do not present AI predictions or community rumours as confirmed fact.
- We do not fabricate quotes, sources, dates, authors or credentials.
- We do not claim hands-on testing we did not do.
Images
Featured images are AI-generated editorial illustrations, licensed stock photos, or official press images from the company in the story. The article labels which one, credits photographers and publishers, and never presents an illustration as a photograph of a real event, person or product.

If an article's production process differs from what is described here, that difference is noted on the article. Questions: contact CodePlay Studios.
